Happy May Day

1 May

Happy May Day, or as I call it, Australian November. Does anyone celebrate May Day anymore? I remember making may baskets out of old strawberry containers and using the wild white and yellow daisies… in preschool. That was almost 30 years ago (gulp!).

Australian style. With eucalyptus yard clippings that I found.

The time I remember May Day celebration was when I was in 1st grade in Manchester, Kansas. Had to be 79 or 80 years ago! The following year we moved to Arkansas. Don’t think there was a May Day celebration there. Gram Pitoni
