We have a pickle in Australia when it comes to buying things for our little apartment. We can’t take anything back to the US with us so we have to decide if the purchase is really worth it for just 6-7 months. The vacuum and large frying pan made the cut, a warmer blanket however did not. Instead of buying a blanket we’ve flapped out Rob’s sleeping bag. It’s really warm and we usually kick it off before the morning. The only problem is that when it’s on the floor it’s slippery which Rob discovered by stepping on, sliding around and whacking his shoulder on the closet while trying to quietly get out of bed in the morning. Oops. Now he knows to watch out for it. It’s like a banana peel in an old cartoon.
