Rob and I often jokingly debate about birthday and anniversaries here versus celebrating in the US. My argument is, we’re living in Eastern Standard Time, that’s what day and time it is. Rob argues that we are from Pacific Standard Time and therefore whatever date it is in Australia hasn’t happened yet. I tell him I live in the present and not the past. We’re 17 hours ahead of California. Anyway, we go backwards in time when we return the US and all is right again.
