Happy Days

11 Aug

We had lunch at an American style 50s diner today. It was fun and pretty tasty. I had a cheeseburger, fries and a root beer float and Rob had a veggie burger, fries and a chocolate milkshake. He very much enjoyed the milkshake. It was called a “thick shake” and tastes like what we think a milkshake should taste like. The other Australian milkshakes we’ve had were a lot more like flavored milk. After lunch we walked around the shopping area and went in the fancy organic Whole-Foods-like market. It was tempting to go crazy in there but we were so full we were able to restrain ourselves.

May you still be gazing soppily into each other’s limpid pools half a century from now 🙂

Might have to go easy on the burgers and shakes to achieve that, of course!

I was instructed to not actually sip any of his precious milkshake. My straw was only a prop. 🙂
