Fosters, Not Australian for Beer

17 Aug

I think one of the main Australian stereotypes that Americans have is that Australians like beer. I’ve found that to be mostly true. We do see a lot of drinking and a lot of beer can and bottle litter. But what we never see is Fosters Beer. Never ever. I haven’t even seen it in the store. When I asked Australians about it they say it’s gross and no one drinks it. So there you go.

I’m not willing to try it

Also, no one has thrown any shrimps on the barbie for us. I’ll see if I can arrange it before we return to the US. Any other stereotypes/cliches we should try to accomplish?

Borrow someone’s kid and go on a camping trip. See if a dingo really does take the baby.
