Rob Roy Glacier

4 Oct

Today we hiked up the Rob Roy Glacier trail. It started out on some flattish farmland with cows and sheep. Then we crossed a wooden swing bridge, which I thought was super fun. It bounced pretty well along the way, especially as more people got on. The trail winded up a mountainside through a deciduous rain forest. At the top we had a spectacular view of the glacier. It was good fun and the weather was perfect the whole time. Tonight a storm is blowing in, so we will have to play tomorrow by ear.
