What Happened to Halloween?

18 Oct

There was a serious lack of Halloween candy at the super market. I haven’t asked anyone, but it looks like Halloween isn’t the giant candy trick-or-treat fest like it is in the US. They do already have Christmas decorations for sale. Also, for sale were fruit cakes and Christmas puddings. Who buys those? And would it compound the grossness if you received one and then learned it was purchased in October?

    No trick-or-treating? How sad!

When you are 87 years old and the “trick or treating goes on for HOURS you just wont be too unhappy to watch the ballgame(?) or such. Some years we do get some great costumes. In our subdivision parents usually drive their kids and watch to make sure they are safe.
